About our Maitake: KÄÄPÄ Health grows Maitake in our KÄÄPÄ mushroom farm in Finland! We grow Maitake outdoors in birch logs. This is a thousand year old Japanese technique we employ, which ensures the highest quality fruiting bodies are used. We inoculate Maitake mycelium in birch logs as this natural substrate is an ideal place for the mushroom to grow from.
We inoculate the oak logs in the Spring and the maitake colonizes the log and fruits the following year. We use local native Finnish strains that we have tested for high quality. We also source some of our maitake from wild harvested pure forests.
About our extraction process: We dual extract dried maitake at a ratio of 1:20. This ensure each bottle of liquid extract is very potent with all the important medicinal compounds extracted. Compounds of interest in maitake includes:

Use sublingually by placing under tongue and swallow. Or add to tea, coffee, smoothies or recipes.
As our extracts are strong, we recommend taking a week off after every 3 months of use.
