Open position - Financial Assistant / Project Manager

Job description summary:

At KÄÄPÄ Biotech we are a fast growing inspirational company striving to make the highest quality medicinal mushroom products on the market. You will be part of a team where taking responsibilities and holding accountability are largely valued. As our company is only 2 years old the working environment is also changing and becoming refined all the time.

You will be working directly with our CEO, our Directors, and our Quality Control Manager on projects. The exact work from week to week will be approximately 50% the same and 50% new things that come up. As the position matures and you express interest on where you want to develop in the company the position will become more clearly defined.

Job duties:

— Work directly with our Accounting firm to solve any issues, prepare invoices for customers, and work with the CEO on implementing a financial management strategy. Must have experience.
— Work directly with our Quality Control Manager on submitting and managing our Organic Control Plan and Hygienic Controls with the Finnish government.
— Ability to take on other projects and manage them well.
— Work will take place physically in our headquarters in Karjalohja, Finland and will be full time

Required skills and qualifications:

— Demonstrated work history in managing projects
— Ability to learn quickly, as we can teach the needed skills
— A business degree or other training sufficient for understanding bookkeeping (the more complicated Accounting reports etc is handled by our Accounting firm)
— Ability to work effectively in English and Finnish.
— Ability to work proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel

Salary & benefits:

All employees at KÄÄPÄ Biotech will start with 12 euros per hour full time positions. Vacation policy per the Finnish regulation. All employees receive a discount on products as well as free mushroom extracts to keep you healthy.
