About Chaga: Chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus) is one of the strongest mushrooms we cultivate in Finland. Chaga has been used for long for it’s high levels of antioxidants. As with all of our extracts, we only use mushroom fruiting bodies*.
It’s been studied that the further North you go, the higher chaga’s compounds get : namely beta-glucans and triterpenes. That’s why we harvest our chaga North of the Arctic Circle.
*chaga is technically a mushroom conk, not a fruiting body.
About our Chaga: We are the largest organic chaga producer in the world. We actively cultivate 100,000 kilos a year from sustainably managed forests in Finland. We are proud to be supporting more ecologically advantageous forest management solutions while growing this amazing mushrooms. As we are waiting to harvest from our growing network, we currently forage organic wild chaga from Lapland, Finland.
We use only conks in our products. The conk which contains those compounds is actually not a fruiting body, as the fruiting body comes only after the tree has died.
About our extraction process: We dual extract dried chaga conks at a ratio of 1:5. This ensures each bottle of liquid extract is potent with all the important compounds and that its shelf-life is up to 3 years from bottling.
How to use:
Use sublingually by placing under tongue and swallow. Or add to tea, coffee, smoothies or recipes.
As our extracts are strong, we recommend taking a week off after every 3 months of use.
